The First world govt- "we know we are wrong, but who cares"

robertteh SG

The mainstream newspapers and broadcast media have not published any analytical logical reviews of government major economic or social policies.

It was even lamented by MM Lee publicly that our own newspaper journalists lack analytical writing unlike those in the west.

Who causes such a problem? Your guess will be as good as mine.

If we lay down our argument logically to the govt on faults of its policies in the only available medium of internet sites even at its own party website will they even be bothered if they are wrong with their policies like sucking up of too much monies from the people will slow down our own domestic investments and job creations'

I bet they don't care. They have cyber-agents trying to discourage such posts even though such posts may correctly give them the true mentoring and advice'

So even if they know sucking up too much monies will cause a slower growth in our economy they don't bother as long as they get their glories in their way and their millions.

Does it not confirm that it is a government of arrogance and hypocrisy?

By the present policies to tax the people and become destitute and go broke with more disharmony, divorces and suicides.

Even the most logical feedbacks they will still play safe to keep their controls and get what they want. This is the standard of our so-called first world government. It is as simple as that.

Sure or not robertteh? Lee Kuan Yew complain?

If mainstream publish critical articles about government policy, they will be at risk at being sued by Lee Kuan Yew.

I'm sure that Lee Kuan Yew knows this, so why did he complain?

Must be an error lah robertteh.

It is easier for gold to fall from the sky than our mainstream media to publish the above views.

No good for a state to be under one man's rule for too long.
